About the Base Plus Awning

The Base Plus is a full cassetted, folding arm awning that is mounted on two brackets that are fitted at either end. A hugely popular awning, it can be top or face fixed depending on its location and your preference. It is suitable for both domestic and commercial use, and can be operated manually or motor controlled. These state of the art awnings are custom made here in the UK, utilising the very best of British craftsmanship.

LED Lighting & Infrared Heating

If you want to add LED lighting to your new awning, you can have it incorporated into the arms, which will come at an extra cost. LED lighting has a long lifespan, and is also a brilliantly energy efficient choice. You’ll be amazed at how much of a difference it can make, and you dim it to 50% brightness if you want to create a warm, cosy ambience. Fully waterproof infrared heaters are another optional extra, and they come fitted with a safety guard for extra peace of mind. With these upgrades, you can enjoy your outdoor space long after the sun has gone down!

Giving You Control

If you don’t want to manually operate your new Base Plus awning, you can opt for a motorised model. These are powered by Somfy motorisation, and can be controlled by remote or wall switch. If you have other Somfy powered products, your awning can be controlled alongside them via the hub. You also have the option of a battery powered wind sensor.
